Transformation of a tourism coach into a Class I urban bus, with a wheelchair-access ramp.

The client's request was to convert a mini-coach built for tourist routes into a Class I urban bus.
This transformation involved changing the flooring at the rear of the mini-bus, lowering the floor, creating a step, fitting a wheelchair-access ramp, plus an automatic door, handrails and request-stop bells. To carry out this work, we had to remove all the finishing materials so we could weld new structural components onto the mini-bus floor and then refit the finishing materials.
All the changes described mean this mini-bus now complies with Class I standards.
